By using XanhMoto's electric scooter rental service, you agree to all of the terms, rental policies and information privacy rules set out below. Please read them carefully before booking.

1. Rental Requirements

To ensure legal safety for both parties, renters must meet the following requirements:

• Age: At least 16 years old and old enough to bear civil liability under the law.
• Driving licence: Electric scooters above 50cc require a valid driving licence (or an IDP for international customers). Electric scooters below 50cc do not require a licence/IDP.
• Identity verification: Please present your ID card or passport so our staff can take a photo for verification. XanhMoto does not keep the original of any customer document.

3. Rental Time & Flexible (Hourly) Charges

1 rental day equals 24 hours, counted from the time you pick up the vehicle to the same time the next day. Example: pick up at 9:00 on 21/03 and return before 9:00 on 22/03 = 1 rental day.

If you keep the vehicle longer than the planned time, charges are calculated transparently as follows:

💡 We encourage you to let us know in advance if you need an extension, so XanhMoto can support you throughout your rental and apply the price based on your actual rental time.

Rental Extension

If you need an extension, please notify XanhMoto at least 1 hour in advance. The extension fee is calculated at the unit price matching the total actual number of rental days (including the extension days).

4. Delivery & Self-Pickup Policy

XanhMoto offers flexible pickup options for your convenience and to keep costs down:

Self-Pickup

When you pick up at the shop, you can choose the vehicle you like, take a test ride to get familiar with it, and receive detailed guidance from our staff on how to operate an electric scooter.

Doorstep Delivery & Collection

Doorstep delivery and collection (hotels, homestays, resorts, apartments...) follows this policy:

• Rentals of 2 days or more: Completely free (Freeship).
• 1-day rentals: Same-day delivery and return surcharge of 50,000 VND/vehicle.

Note: The delivery policy above only applies within 5km of XanhMoto's premises. Further areas may incur an additional agreed surcharge.

Delivery hours: 08:00 – 22:00 daily. For delivery outside these hours, please contact us in advance; additional fees may apply.

You and our staff will check the condition of the vehicle, battery and accessories together before signing the handover. Any damage arising after the handover is the renter's responsibility.

5. Extended Service Plans

XanhMoto offers optional Extended Service Plans priced from 30,000 VND to 60,000 VND/day. With a plan, repair costs arising from collisions, accidents or damage during use are waived according to the benefits of that plan.

The benefits of each plan are shown clearly in the Choose Services step when booking on the website. We recommend choosing an Extended Service Plan for more peace of mind throughout your trip.

6. Energy & Battery Swapping

Every vehicle is handed over with at least 80% battery. Energy and battery rules are as follows:

• Quick swaps at swap stations: Free battery swaps, about 1 minute each, at hundreds of VinFast V-GREEN automated swap stations across Da Nang, Hoi An and nationwide. Swap costs are fully included in the rental price.
• Number of swaps: Each battery can be swapped 03 times per day; a vehicle with 02 batteries gets 06 swaps. The count resets at the start of each new day. If you are riding a long route and need extra swaps, please message the Hotline/customer support to have extra swaps unlocked right away.
• Charger policy: Monthly renters receive a genuine portable charger with the vehicle. Daily renters use the V-GREEN swap station network by default; if you need to charge overnight at your hotel/homestay, you can request a portable charger.
• Battery care: The renter must not let the battery drop below 5% or stay fully drained for a long time. If this causes battery damage and the warranty claim is refused, the renter bears the full actual cost of restoration or replacement.
• Do not replace the battery with non-genuine batteries, and do not physically tamper with the battery system or the vehicle controller.

7. XanhMoto's Responsibilities

• Hand over a technically safe, regularly maintained vehicle of the agreed model and for the agreed period.
• Provide 02 standard helmets and the included accessories (vehicle lock, power bank if available).
• Provide a copy of the vehicle registration and the compulsory civil liability insurance.
• Provide technical incident support 24/7. If the vehicle has a manufacturer fault or natural wear, XanhMoto will replace it free of charge as soon as possible.
• Guide you on how to use the vehicle safely and how to use VinFast swap/charging stations.

8. Renter's Responsibilities

• Legal compliance: Strictly obey the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety (36/2024/QH15), wear a helmet when riding, and do not ride after consuming alcohol or stimulants.
• Vehicle care: Take good care of the vehicle and lock it when parked. Notify XanhMoto immediately if you notice any damage.
• Traffic violations (including camera fines): The renter bears 100% of violation fines, including camera-detected fines discovered after the vehicle is returned. The renter agrees to cooperate in paying fines according to the violation notice. In case of deliberate evasion, XanhMoto has full right to provide the contract and the renter's personal data to the authorities to transfer responsibility for handling. Time the vehicle is impounded due to a violation still counts as rental days.
• Strictly prohibited: Pawning, mortgaging, lending the vehicle to others, removing parts, or using the vehicle for any unlawful purpose.
• Area of use: The vehicle is used within Da Nang city and neighbouring provinces. For long inter-provincial trips, please inform us in advance so XanhMoto can advise on a suitable battery range.

9. Damage and Compensation

If the vehicle is damaged due to the renter's fault:

• Serious damage (dents, cracks, breaks, deformation): the renter compensates with genuine parts. XanhMoto does not accept panel beating, welding or non-genuine replacement parts.
• Light scratches or paint scuffs not requiring part replacement: compensation based on the market quotation at the time.
• Vehicle lost or completely destroyed: the renter compensates the equivalent of the vehicle's appraised value at the time of rental.
• Time the vehicle is out of use due to the renter's fault: rental fees still apply for the days the vehicle is under repair.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

XanhMoto is committed to transparent business on the principle: “You pay for what you ride - no ride, no charge.”

• Booking cancellation: You can cancel at any time without any fee.
• Service not as promised: You have the right to refuse the service or request a suitable replacement vehicle. If this cannot be resolved, XanhMoto refunds 100% of the amount paid.

11. Vehicle Recovery and Dispute Resolution

• If the renter is more than 24 hours late returning the vehicle without contact, or deliberately cuts off contact, XanhMoto has full right to use the vehicle's built-in GPS to unilaterally recover the property and report to the competent Police authority at the same time.
• The rental contract is legally effective as soon as both parties sign it. Any disputes (if any) will first be resolved through negotiation and mediation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be settled at the People's Court where XanhMoto's business is registered.

12. Information Privacy Policy

XanhMoto is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the 2018 Law on Cybersecurity and Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection. Summary of our main commitments:

• Minimal collection: We only collect the information needed to provide the service (full name, phone number, email, ID photo).
• No selling of data: We never sell, trade or rent your information to third parties.
• Automatic deletion: ID photos are deleted within 30 days after the booking is completed.
• Your rights: You have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to withdraw consent at any time.
