It is a direct civil agreement between you and XanhMoto (Damage Waiver). If the scooter is scratched, scraped or gets a flat tire, XanhMoto waives your compensation liability or pays the repair cost for you on the spot. You do not need complicated incident paperwork, do not wait for an assessor and do not wait for an insurance company to approve payment.
In practice, most scratches happen when scooters are brushed in hotel parking lots, night markets or crowded attractions - objective risks that are hard to avoid when traveling. The 30k Premium Plan gives you more peace of mind at the return check and adds 3 hours of free late return if your flight is delayed.
Just send your location via our Hotline or online support channels. Our team will assist in contacting the nearest mobile mechanic to help you promptly, so you don't have to push the scooter to find a repair shop. With the VIP Plan (60k), XanhMoto covers the full tire repair labor cost.
XanhMoto recognizes that riding along coastal roads naturally involves sea breeze, sand, and small pebbles. All faint hairline marks from natural daily riding are 100% FREE on all plans (including the default Standard Plan). You only need to consider the Premium Plan (30k) or VIP Plan (60k) for larger risks such as deep paint scuffs, parking lot scrapes, or cracked panels.
With the Premium Plan, repair costs are reduced by 50%. With the VIP Plan, XanhMoto waives 85% of the cost of replacing genuine parts per the VinFast list price, and you only co-pay 15%. Without a plan, costs are charged exactly per the parts list price with clear invoices.
If the scooter is unexpectedly stolen: (1) Contact the XanhMoto hotline immediately and report to the nearest police station to file a report; (2) Keep the original vehicle key. XanhMoto shares the financial risk in a practical way: the Premium Plan covers 50% (you compensate only 50% of the vehicle value), the VIP Plan covers up to 80% (you compensate only 20%). With the default Standard Plan, the renter is responsible for 100% of the vehicle value per the contract.
The Premium Plan gives you free late return up to 3 hours (saving 40,000 VND in surcharges), the VIP Plan up to 6 hours (saving 100,000 VND). Just message the shop in advance with your new flight time to keep the scooter longer at no extra charge.
Both the Premium Plan and the VIP Plan include 1 free replacement key (saving 200,000 VND in key costs). XanhMoto will quickly bring a spare key to you so you can continue your trip.
If the scooter has a technical fault caused by the vehicle, XanhMoto replaces it completely free of charge. For customers with the VIP Plan, replacement requests are handled with priority.
The fee is charged per rental day (full 24h cycle) per scooter. Example: renting 1 scooter for 2 days with the Premium Plan (30,000 VND/day), the total plan fee for the trip is 60,000 VND.
Not required. You can choose a plan for each scooter according to each group member's needs and riding skills at the service selection step.
The waiver does NOT apply to these violations: riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs or stimulants; intentionally damaging the vehicle; deliberately riding into deep floodwater that damages the motor/battery; handing the vehicle to a third party not registered in the rental contract.
Yes. If you return early and the booking qualifies for a refund under XanhMoto's policy, the plan fee for unused days will be calculated and refunded to you transparently.
