How renting works

  1. 01

    Choose dates and a bike

Choose your pickup and return dates in the bar above, then add a bike to your booking. The price recalculates by the number of days; the longer you rent, the lower the daily rate.

  2. 02

Choose how to get the bike

We can deliver to your hotel, or you can come to our shop in Son Tra for an extra discount. No prepayment is needed, so you can hold the bike and settle later.

  3. 03

Receive the bike and sign the contract

Our staff checks your documents and shows you how to ride the bike and swap batteries. The contract is signed on your phone; the whole process takes about 5–10 minutes.

  4. 04

    Ride and return

If the battery runs low on the way, stop at a V-GREEN cabinet and swap for a full one in about a minute. When you're done, return the bike where you received it or bring it back to the shop, whichever is more convenient.

Bookings worth messaging us first

Most bookings are one bike, a few days, delivered to a hotel. For the cases below, please talk to us first so we can prepare properly:

  • chat_bubbleRenting for a month or more. Monthly rates are noticeably lower than adding up daily rates; if you're staying in Da Nang for a long time, ask us first for a suitable rate.
  • chat_bubbleGroups of 5–30 bikes. Tour groups and company team-building trips should tell us at least 3 days ahead so we can arrange enough matching bikes, fully charged, handed over at the same time.
  • chat_bubblePickup at the airport / train station. If you need the bike right after landing or getting off the train, just tell us your flight code/arrival time in advance so our staff can meet you and hand over the bike.
  • chat_bubbleDelivery to distant hotels & resorts. If you're staying at a coastal resort or a hotel more than 5 km from the centre, please let us know in advance so our staff can arrange delivery on time.
  • chat_bubbleSwitching to another model. Riding an Evo and want to switch to the stronger Feliz MAX? We can swap mid-rental and only charge the price difference.
  • chat_bubblePickup outside opening hours. Outside 8:00–22:00 we can still serve you, as long as you book an appointment in advance.

What you need to know before renting

Which bike can I rent without a licence?add

Choose the Evo MAX Lite. It runs at up to 50 km/h, and under the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, anyone aged 16 or over may ride it without any driving licence, legally for both Vietnamese and international visitors. The Feliz MAX goes up to 70 km/h and needs an A1 licence or a 1968 Vienna Convention IDP.

How does delivery and collection at my hotel or homestay work?add

Very convenient and quick! When booking, just enter your hotel name or homestay/resort address in Da Nang. Free delivery and collection within 5 km for bookings of 2 days or more (1-day bookings have a 50,000 VND/bike delivery and collection surcharge). 10–15 minutes before delivery, our staff contacts you and brings the bike to the lobby. You check the bike, we quickly check your ID/passport (we don't keep original documents), you sign the digital contract in 1 minute and take the bike right away.

Do I need to pay a cash deposit or leave original documents?add

XanhMoto does not require a deposit and does not keep original ID documents. You only need to show your ID card or passport for a quick check when you receive the bike.

How far can the bike go and how do battery swaps work?add

Each bike has 1 standard battery that goes 50–60 km per charge (add a 2nd battery for 100–120 km). You get free battery swaps, 3 per day per battery (6 for a 2-battery bike; if you need more, just message customer support to unlock extra right away), at hundreds of V-GREEN cabinets across Da Nang, Hoi An and nationwide, in just 1 minute. Monthly renters get a charger with the bike; daily renters who want to charge at their hotel/homestay can request a portable charger.

What accessories come with the rental? Is there any extra fee?add

All the essential accessories are provided free: 2 quality-standard helmets, 2 handy raincoats, a sturdy handlebar phone mount for Google Maps, plus free battery swaps at all V-GREEN cabinets. You don't need to prepare or pay for any extra accessories.

Can the bike carry 2 people up to Linh Ung Pagoda (Son Tra) or over bridge slopes?add

Both the Feliz MAX and the Evo MAX Lite carry 2 adults steadily and smoothly. The Feliz MAX has a 3000W motor, a long and wide body and 2 disc brakes, and with 2 adults it still climbs to Linh Ung Pagoda (Son Tra) or bridge slopes steadily. The Evo MAX Lite (2500W) is compact and easy to push, carrying 2 people around town and to Hoi An comfortably without a motorbike licence. Note: The road up to Ban Co Peak has a sign banning automatic scooters under local rules, so only ride as far as Linh Ung Pagoda and the coastal spots.

Will the electric bike short-circuit or cut out in Da Nang's rainy and storm season?add

The motor and LFP battery on VinFast bikes meet the IP67 water-resistance standard as published by the manufacturer. Electric bikes don't use an air intake exhaust or spark plug, so there's no risk of a flooded exhaust like petrol bikes; however, for safe operation, avoid riding into water deeper than half the wheel or fast-flowing water.

Can I ride into Hoi An Ancient Town? Will the battery run out between Da Nang and Hoi An?add

Very convenient! The Da Nang - Hoi An route is about 28-30 km, and a 1-battery bike uses just over 50% of the battery one way. Hoi An has many V-GREEN cabinets (right near the old town and on main roads), so you can swap for a 100% full battery in 1 minute, explore the old town and ride back to Da Nang comfortably. Electric bikes are quiet, with no engine noise or fumes, which is very pleasant around the old town.

What happens if the bike gets scratched or scraped?add

XanhMoto waives the cost of all hairline scratches under 5cm from normal riding (natural wear from beach sand and flying gravel). To limit cost risks from deep scratches or falls, you can add a Damage Waiver Plan (from 30k/day). The price list for parts, if needed, is published openly at the genuine VinFast parts prices.

What if I get a flat tyre or a problem on the road?add

XanhMoto provides 24/7 incident support via Hotline or Zalo to assist you promptly (on-site guidance or locating the nearest repair shop). If the problem is caused by a technical defect of the vehicle or manufacturer, XanhMoto will provide a replacement scooter completely free of charge so your trip isn't interrupted.

What do I get for picking up the bike at the shop myself?add

You get 20,000₫/bike/day off your invoice when you collect the bike at the XanhMoto shop: 27 An Cu 4, An Hai, Da Nang (just a few hundred metres from My Khe beach). At the shop you can look at the bikes, choose the colour you like and complete pickup in just 3 minutes.

How are date changes and late returns charged?add

Cancelling before pickup is completely free because we don't collect any money in advance. On return, the first hour late is free; from the 2nd to the 8th hour it's 20,000₫/hour; more than 8 hours counts as a new rental day. If you want extra days, just message us in advance to extend at the rental tier discount price.
