How to start the scooter until the word READY appears
VinFast electric scooters do not start up like gas scooters; three conditions must be met for them to run:
Insert the key and turn the power to ON.
Kick up the side kickstand. The scooter has an electronic kickstand switch; if it is not kicked up, twisting the throttle won't do anything.
Squeeze either brake lever and press the P (Parking) button on the handlebars until the screen shows the word READY.
Once you see the word READY, the scooter is ready to ride.
Which slot in the compartment should the battery go into?
The main battery goes into slot number 1. If the scooter only has one battery and you place it in slot number 2, the scooter will not start.
The scooter's screen displays the capacity separately for each battery. Before inserting a second battery, remember to remove the protective cover from slot number 2 in the compartment (if it is still covered).
Anti-theft lock
Press the small metal button on the ignition switch to close the anti-theft cover. To open it again, insert the back end of your key into the groove and turn it counterclockwise.
